Harlan Baublit 86, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his home. He was born September 17, 1937 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Lettie and Corbett Baublit.
He married Ruby Bridgewater on August 13, 1994 and she survives of the home. Harlan served proudly in the United States Marine Corp. He worked as a Truck Driver. Harlan enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a member of Marine Corp League and attended New Home Baptist Church.
Harlan was preceded in death by his parents, son, Harlan Baublit Jr., brothers, Ronald, Aaron and Frank A. Baublit, sisters, Virginia Brown, Lenora Sparks, and an infant.
Survivors include wife, Ruby Baublit of the home, daughter, Terrilee Baublit, Scappoose, OR, sons, Harlan E. (Jennifer) Baublit of Broussard, LA., and John Baublit of St. Joseph, MO, 3 grandsons, 3 grand daughters, 1 great grandchild and numerous, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home, Military honors and public live stream to be conducted at 4:30 pm Friday July 5, 2024 under the auspices of the United States Marines.
