By TOMMY REZACSt. Joseph PostMosaic Life Care reports an increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations Thursday.They’re now treating 78 patients - up five from the day before.There are 74 patients in the St. Joseph hospital, with two in Maryville and two more in Albany.The St. Joseph Health Department reports 58 more cases in Buchanan County, but no new deaths Thursday. The county has had 8,791 cases and 135 deaths since the pandemic began.Andrew County reports 19 new cases Thursday for a total of 1,772. Statewide, Missouri reports 3,983 new cases (412,426 total) and 24 new deaths (5,882 total) Thursday.Kansas has reported 236,818 total cases and 3,027 COVID-related deaths since the pandemic began.
