Kansas man injured after car spins, strikes fence posts

DONIPHAN COUNTY —A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Saturday in Doniphan County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chevy Impala driven by Diamond Lashay Worten, 20, Hiawatha, was westbound on U.S. 36 at mile marker 370.

The car left the roadway to the north, spun backwards, struck fence posts, traveled over a cement culvert and came to rest on its wheels facing Southeast.   

A private vehicle transported Worten to Amberwell. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
