Kansas State starts hot, rolls past Jacksonville Monday

MANHATTAN, KS (AP) - Freshman Nijel Pack scored a season-high 16 points, including four 3-pointers, and the Kansas State men's basketball team rolled to a 70-46 win over the Jacksonville Dolphins on Monday afternoon at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan. Pack also had six rebounds and five assists, as he paced three Wildcats in double figures.

DaJuan Gordon had his second career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Wildcats, while Mike McGuirl added 12 points and seven assists. The Wildcats also dominated on the boards, outrebounding Jacksonville 45-22. Kansas State improved to 4-5 on the year and have now won three of their last four games.

The Wildcats return to action on December 29 when they play host to Omaha at 7 P.M.
