The St. Joseph Police Department is investigating a shooting that resulted in a death eartly this morning in the 2900 block of Penn Street.
St. Joseph Police report that just before 1am this morning, officers with the responded to the 2900 block of Penn Street for a report of a shooting. A male sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment. He was later pronounced deceased due to his injuries.
No other injuries have been reported. As of this time, no arrests have been made.
This incident remains under investigation. No additional information is being released at this time.
