LIVINGSTON COUNTY—One person was injured in a small plane crash just before 3p.m. Wednesday in Livingston County.&nbsp;

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1978 Cessna piloted by 51-year-old Charles Peniston of Chillicothe crashed in a hay field.

Peniston drove himself to the hospital, according to a media release from the Livingston County Sheriff. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash, according to the sheriff's office.

NW Mo. pilot drove himself to hospital after small plane crash
