Northwest Missouri State women add seven; one from St. Joseph

Head coach Austin Meyer has signed seven recruits to the Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team.

Kendall Clatt is a 5'10", shooting guard from Indianola, Iowa (Indianola HS). Clatt is a three-time all-Little Hawkeye Conference selection for head coach Jeff Janssen. As a junior, she averaged 13.1 points and 4.9 rebounds. She led the conference in three-point field goal percentage (42%) in 2019-2020.

Clatt had a 59% effective field goal percentage over her past two prep seasons. She is an academic all-conference honoree and a nominee for the Indianola Community Youth Foundation. She is the daughter of Maggie and Travis Clatt.

Lauren Eiman is a 6'1", forward from St. Joseph, Missouri (Central HS). Eiman tallied honorable mention all-conference honors as a junior. She tallied career highs in points (24), rebounds (14) and blocked shots (6) as a prep performer.

Eiman is a three-time all-city pick. Eiman tallied all-district honors as a freshman and a sophomore. She earned academic all-state honors and holds a 4.0 GPA. She is the daughter of Brandon and Mindy Eiman.

Kelsey Fields is a 6'2", center from Creston, Iowa (Creston HS). As a junior, she averaged 17.6 points and 12.7 rebounds. She led the state in rebounding in 2018-19 and eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in scoring. She holds the school record for rebounds in a game and in a career.

She tallied all-state honors in 2019-2020. Fields is a three-time all-conference honoree for head coach Tony Neubauer. She is the daughter of Dan and Rebecca Fields.

Lauren Gillig is a 6'1", guard from Blue Springs, Missouri (Blue Spring South HS). As a junior, Gillig averaged 11.5 points and 5.2 rebounds.

She is a two-time all-district and all-conference performer for head coach Kory Lower. Gillig holds a 4.2 GPA and is a member of National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Mitch and Tiffany Gillig.

Laini Joseph is a 5'9", guard from Cameron, Missouri (Cameron HS). As a junior, she averaged 19.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists. She enters her senior season having earned all-conference honors her first three years for head coach Matt Wenck.

Joseph notched all-state honors as a junior. She is a member of National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Kent and Anne Wamsley.

Lindsey Kelderman is a 5'6" guard from Urbandale, Iowa (Waukee HS). Kelderman was named to the 2020 Iowa All-State Tournament team for head coach Chris Guess. As a junior, she averaged 11 points per game while shooting 43% from three-point range.

Entering her senior season, Kelderman has 621 points, 195 rebounds, 159 assists, 115 steals. She has been a part of three state tournament teams and one that finished runner up.

She is a three-time all-CIML performer, including first-team status in 2020. ] She is a member of National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Justin and Anji Kelderman.

Peyton Kelderman is a 5'8", guard from Urbandale, Iowa (Waukee HS). As a junior, she averaged 10.7 points, 3.4 assists (2:1 assist to turnover ratio) and shot 43% from three-point range.

Kelderman secured third-team all-state honors as a junior for head coach Chris Guess. She tallied first-team all-CIML status as well as all-district accolades. \. She is a member of National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Justin and Anji Kelderman.
