Joshua Allen Tackett, often known as "Pork Chop", 45, of St. Joseph passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 in St. Joseph. He was born October 12, 1978 in Clarinda, Iowa , son of Linda (Whited) and Terry Burton. Josh worked in the Construction field. His hobbies enjoyed fishing, cooking, coloring and woodworking. He also enjoyed dancing with his daughter Tia to their favorite song, Tennessee Whiskey. Joshua was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Burton, his best friend, Mikey Brushwood, and maternal grandmother, Wanda Traster. He is survived by his, father, Terry Burton of Amazonia, MO, daughter, Montia Tackett, of Stewartsville, MO, Brothers, Brian Richardson (Diane Woods) and Jason Richardson, Sisters, Jody Tackett, Jami Cope, Lacy Noble, and Chasity Reital, and numerous nieces and nephews.Mr. Tackett has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of his Life will be begin at 6:00 pm Friday, October 27, 2023 at The Last Call.
