The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce announced today that a food manufacturer will invest $24 million in building a manufacturing facility in St. Joseph. 

Cereal Ingredients, Inc. has chosen St. Joseph as its new location for its next 80,000 square foot facility after looking at potential locations in Missouri and Kansas. 

"We are excited to welcome Cereal Ingredients, Inc., to the state of Missouri," said Governor Mike Parson in a written statement released by the Chamber of Commerce. "The company's decision to invest and create new jobs in Missouri is a testament to the hard-working men and women who call out state home. We look forward to working together as Cereal Ingredients Inc., grows and succeeds."
