It is with deep sorrow that that we announce the passing of Pam Laboi, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and cherished friend to many, who left us on 9/16/24 at the age of 70.
Born to Mary Lou and John Edward Lottman, she was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jeffrey Laboi, her loving father, John Edward Lottman, and her cherished nephew, Ryan Hoover whose memories she held close to her heart. Each loss weighed heavily on her heart, yet she continued to fill the world around her with support and courage.
An avid lover of antiques and crafts, Pam was known for her exquisite taste and knack for finding beauty in things of the past. Her home was filled with the pieces she collected, just as her life was filled with the stories of the people she loved.
Pam is survived by her loving daughter Jaclyn Laboi of Smithville, who brought her immense joy. She also leaves behind her dedicated mother, Mary Lou Lottman of Raytown, and her devoted sister, Linda Hoover (Rick) of Belton, who was not just family but also her closest companion. Pam’s legacy will continue through her family and many cousins as well as a multitude of cherished friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness. A private inurnment will be held at a date to be announced, allowing family and close friends to celebrate a life well-lived.
