Catherine L. Hite, 88, Elwood, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024.
She was born August 29, 1935 in St. Joseph, Missouri to James and Viola (Frye) Cahill.
Catherine married Everett C. Hite on September 4, 1952. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2019.
Catherine was a Jevohah’s Witness. She liked poetry, animals, music and dance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; her parents; children, Rosanne Alexander and Ruth Williams; grandchildren, Eddie Mace, Jason Alexander, and Alec Grindstaff; and siblings, Mary Whatley, Betty Goodale and Bob Cahill.
Survivors include her children, Angi McCorkle, Donnie Crawford and Kathy Finder; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
