Darrel Sun Brown 38, of St. Joseph, MO., passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024 in St. Joseph. He was born February 21, 1986 in St. Joseph, son of Un Suk & Darrel Brown.
He graduated from Benton High School and worked at Garbology trash service. Darrel served in the United States Air Force for 3 years. He enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs, playing corn hole, darts, and pool, canoe trips, and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and his kids. His family was his life.
Darrel is survived by his parents, sons, Preston Brown and Bryndan Brown, companion, Lauren Beaver and her children, Jayden, Emilynn, and Jezlyn all of St. Joseph, MO., sister, Jennifer (Bobby) Larson of St. Joseph, MO, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday at Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services 10:00 am Saturday June 15, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home, preacher Greg McCurley officiating. The interment will be at the Ashland Cemetery.
