Levetta Fattig, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at her home.
She was born September 14, 1941, to Ray and Rose (Lundy) Shyrock in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She worked for the Tiffany Square Nursing Home as a dietary aide and housekeeper and spent many years as a homemaker caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She helped to raise her own siblings growing up, and even several nieces and nephews. Her family was most important to her.
Levetta enjoyed keeping a clean home. If you had a glass and left the room, when you came back she would have already washed, dried and put it away for you. She also loved working in her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Rose; her husband, Delbert; siblings, Ronald Shyrock, Donald Shyrock, Jackie Shyrock, Jeanie Marriott (Dave), Dee Shyrock, Judy Shyrock and Joyce Shyrock; children, Rhonda Fattig and Mike Fattig, and grandson, Ryan Barnes.
Survivors include her children, Tammy Tracy, Patty Barnes (Dave), Eric Berry and Kyle Weldon; siblings, Ralph Shyrock (Darla), James Shyrock, Joe Shyrock, Janet McCoy, Gerald Shyrock (Terri); Donnie Ellis; grandchildren, Walt, Amanda Ebing, Randa Hol (Cole), and Alexsus Albin; and great-grandchildren, Kyleagh, Jaden, Cliffton, Jax, Dusten, Remmy, Alex, Abel, Robbie, Kolby, Raelyn, with one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
