After COVID-19 caused a worldwide shutdown, businesses are finally reopening their doors to the public including the Missouri Quilt Museum in Hamilton Missouri.

Bob Hughes Missouri Quilt Museum Director says the museum shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

“The museum opened originally in September of 2019 and then due to COVID we shut down in March of 2020,” Hughes tells St. Joseph Post.

Hughes says the museum has had some exciting renovations.

The new opening will feature at least three quilt galleries and then also a lot of different exhibits,” says Hughes.

Hughes says they’re looking forward to seeing everyone on opening day.

“We’re opening at 10 a.m. on May the 4th, and we invite everyone to come see us,” says Hughes.

The museum will be open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm. Admission is $10 per person. There is a senior discount as well as group discounts.
