Sarah Mae Gibson 33, passed away February 21, 2026 at a St. Joseph, Missouri hospital. She was born in St. Joseph on April 18, 1992, to Phillip and Tracy (Bryant) Hart. Sarah graduated from Lafayette High School in St. Joseph.
In 2016 Sarah married Tommy Gibson. He preceded her in death in 2022 at the age of 29. She was also preceded by her brother, Lance Hart, in 2024.
Sarah leaves behind her children, Darrian and Tylor Gilliland of Craig, Missouri; mother and stepfather, Tracy Hart and Rick Steen, also of Craig; father, Dale Hart of St. Joseph, Missouri; sister, Cathy Hart of Raytown, Missouri; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who loved her.
Sarah loved to sing, and always sang to her children. She was an artist and an athlete, and loved to find four-leaf clovers. She taught her children and friends to find them also.
Sarah was an organ donor, and when she left this world she saved the lives of four others.
