Ervin Elmer Jobe, 90, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023. Death to this life is his entrance into eternal life’s heavenly mansion. He was born September 26, 1932 in Blue Earth County, Minnesota the son of William Henry Jobe and Marie O (Tonn) Jobe both of Germany.
Ervin was preceded in death by wife, Shirley Carol Ervin July, 23,2022 and his parents and all of his siblings, Alvin, Marvin, Evelyn, Merlin, Eldor, Waldo and Willard.
Ervin was baptized and confirmed in Willow Creek Church. He was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, Leavenworth, Kansas. Ervin Elmer and Shirley Carol united in marriage March 2, 1952 in Estherville Lutheran Church, Estherville, Iowa. Officiating was the Rev. L. G. Hinderaaker,
To their union four children were born, Steven Joseph (wife Susan, deceased), LeRoy Ervin, Anita Carol (husband Robert Ehbauer) and Constance Lynn (husband Charles Goff) all surviving.
He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Rebecca Louise (Justin) Petry, Christopher Joseph (Amy) Jobe, Tina Louise (Husband, Daniel, deceased) Hough, Amber Rose Ebbers, Adam Morris Foley (Cari), Stacy Carol (Scott) Kite and Keira Morgan Allen.
12 great-grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Natalie, Blake, Travon, Harper, Gretchen, Lillian, Dayton, Aiden and Twins, Grant and Grayson, and additionally a number of nieces, nephews and family survive them.
He retired from Sears where he worked for over 20 years and Fuller Brush business for 40 years.
