Missouri Western men's basketball coach Will Martin rounded out his 2022 recruiting class by signing Josh Book out of New Zealand on June 10.

Book comes from Christ Church City, New Zealand and has four national team appearances already under his belt. In high school, Book averaged a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds per game, while snagging three steals and six assists per contest as well.

Book recently played in the E2 Tournament this past December, averaging 17.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists and at least one steal per contest.

Coach Martin believes Book's skillset will fit in well with his current team.

"We are excited to finish our 2022 recruiting class with the signing of Josh Book," Coach Martin said in a statement. "Josh is an exciting player with tremendous upside. He comes from an extremely accomplished basketball family and truly has a relentless passion for the game. His character and integrity make him a perfect addition to our Griffon family!"

Coach Martin and his staff have already secured Idaho transfer and East Buchanan alum Ethan Kilgore, along with East Tennessee State transfer Matt Nunez and Morehead State transfer Julius Dixon in their 2022 class.

Martin will begin his third season as the Griffons' head coach this coming fall.
