Terry C. Imlay, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023.
He was born August 22, 1946 in St. Joseph to Buford and Evelyn Imlay. He graduated from Central High School and earned his MBA at Missouri Western State College.
Terry was united in marriage to Donna Marie Branaman on May 24, 1968. She preceded him in death on May 16, 2020.
He was corporate traffic manager at Hillyard Inc., where he retired after 32 years of service.
Terry was a member of the Moila Shriners Ole Tymers. He enjoyed hunting, getting to take a memorable hunting trip to Africa at age 73. He also enjoyed working on old cars, with two Model A’s and a 1934 hot rod at home.
Terry fought a long, hard battle with Parkinson’s, and a heart-felt thank you goes to his caregivers and Asera Care Hospice team.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Donna; and his parents.
Survivors include children, Lori (Mike) Ziegler; Stacey (Dan) Huben; Ashely (Richard) Mense; grandchildren, Chase, Rilan, Nathan, Delaney, Cayden and Mikaela; and good friends, Leland Daise and Tammy Poirier.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Moila Shrine Transportation Fund.
