CALDWELL COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Saturday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Harley Davidson Tri-Glide driven by Thomas R. Wiarda, 80, Ackley, IA, was northbound on MO 113 four miles north of Polo.
The vehicle struck the towed unit of a 2001 Honda GL 1800 driven by Janice M. Tersehn, 72, Arlington, IA, who had slowed for traffic.
After impact, Wiarda was ejected and later transported by Caldwell County EMS to Liberty Hospital. Hersehn was not injured. Wiarda wa not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
