WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a shooting that critically injured a teen.
The shooting occurred just after 3a.m. Saturday in Quindaro Park, 3345 Sewell Ave, Kansas City, Kansas, according to a statement from the Wyandotte County Sheriff's office.
The victim, identified as a Hispanic teen, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators identified and took a suspect into custody. The sheriff's office asked anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
