ATCHISON COUNTY, Kan.—Two people were injured in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Wednesday in Atchison County.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, a 2013 Ford pickup driven by Robert Myers, 75, Muscotah, was westbound on Raven Hill Road at U.S. 73.
The driver stopped at the stop sign and then entered U.S. 73 to turn southbound.
A northbound 2009 Freightliner semi driven by Jerry Reed, 75, Cassville Missouri and the pickup collided.
EMS transported Myers and a passenger in the pickup Warren Wilson, 75, Muscotah, to the hospital Reed was not injured.
Authorities released no additional details.
