John G. Jimenez, 80, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
He was born February 14, 1943 to John G., Sr. and Mildred (Silcott Taylor) Jimenez in St. Joseph, Missouri.
John graduated from Lafayette High School in 1961.
He worked as a plumber for 58 years with Local 45.
John enjoyed watching the Chiefs and Royals games. He had a sweet tooth and loved chocolate. He loved taking cruises and traveling to places like Cancun, Mexico. John was an avid Harley motorcycle rider. He was also heavily involved in Lions League Baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Ramona Stump.
Survivors include his sons, John Jr., and David Jimenez; grandchildren, Johnna and Jayden Jimenez; sisters, Etta Wildberger and Linda Nicholas.
Services 1:00 P.M. Monday, Simplify Cremations & Funerals. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
