DAVIESS COUNTY —A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Tuesday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Camaro driven by Jennifer R. Birdsong, 44, Plattsburg, was eastbound on MO 6 two miles northeast of Jamesport.
The Camaro attempted to pass an eastbound 2015 Ford F350 driven by Ronald G. Pollard, 65, Breckenridge, Mo., as the pickup began to turn left on 32nd Street. The Camaro struck the drivers side of the Ford.
Kaw EMS transported Birdsong to Wright Memorial Hospital. Pollard was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
