The Human Bean in St. Joseph will once again raise funds to benefit breast cancer patients in October during the 11th annual Coffee for a Cure next week.
On Friday, October 16th from 5am to 7:30pm at The Human Bean, located at 4414 Commons Drive in St. Joseph, all proceeds and tips on the day will help support the Mosaic Life Care Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund. The Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary will once again match every dollar raised through The Human Bean during the event, meaning every coffee, specialty drink, pastry and tip purchased throughout the day will generate twice the support for local patients and families facing breast cancer.
Since its launch in 2016, Coffee for a Cure become a beloved community tradition. In 2025, The Human Bean generated $19,294.43 in sales and tips during the event. Combined with the Auxiliary’s matching contribution, the fundraiser provided a total impact of $38,588.86 for local breast cancer patients. Over the past decade, Coffee for a Cure has raised more than $210,000 for the Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.
