Community Action Partnership of Greater St. Joseph will launch monthly pop-up service events beginning next month, aimed at increasing access to essential programs and resources for residents across Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton and DeKalb counties.
These pop-up events are designed to better serve individuals and families who may face barriers traveling to CAPSTJOE’s administrative office in St. Joseph, bt bringing services directly into surrounding communities.
Starting in May, CAPSTJOE will host recurring pop-up events in the following locations:
- Savannah – First Thursday of each month, 2-5 pm, 304 N 4th Street
- Cameron – Second Wednesday of each month, 2-5 pm, 1015 West 4th Street,
- Maysville – Third Thursday of each month, 2-5 pm, 207 N 7th Street
- Plattsburg – Fourth Wednesday of each month, 2-5 pm, 305 N 7th Street,
Each event will provide access to a range of CAPSTJOE services including utility assistance, workforce development, and other support services.
“We recognize that transportation and distance can be significant barriers for many in our communities,” Community Relations Director Kayla Marmaud says in a news release. “These pop-up events are about removing barriers and creating opportunities by connecting directly with our communities and providing support in a more accessible way.”
Community members are encouraged to attend an event near them to learn more about the resources available. For more information about you can click HERE or call 816.233.8281.
