NODAWAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 8p.m. Christmas Eve.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Chevy Equinox driven by Brittany A. Thomas, 27, Albany, was westbound on U.S. 136 five miles east of Maryville.
The SUV traveled off the north side of the road and down into a ditch. The vehicle struck the ditch and crossed a private drive.
Nodaway EMS transported Thomas to Mosaic Maryville. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
