BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for an alleged violent crime.
Just after 3:30p.m. Jan. 20, sheriff's deputies responded to the Kickapoo Reservation on the report of a previous assault, according to Sheriff John Merchant.
Upon completion of the investigation, Ryan Shopteese, 34, Horton was arrested on a requested charge of Aggravated Battery. He is no longer in custody, according to online jail records.
