ATCHISON COUNTY, MO. —One person was injured in an accident just 2a.m. Sunday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1994 GMC 1500 pickup driven by Reven S. Herron, 34, Rock Port, was southbound MO 111 just north of I-29 exit 107.
The pickup traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The pickup returned to the road, began to skid, traveled off the west side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.
A private vehicle transported Herron to Fairfax Community Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
