Lola Fern Morrison Chenoweth Swartz, 92, of Stanberry, MO, passed away on August 23, 2024. She was born to parents Dallas Morrison and Grace Coburn Morrison, on September 25, 1931 in Stanberry, MO.
Lola worked as a Cap Factory Machinist and at Dunbrook Apparel Corp. in Lexington, MO for many years until retirement.
Lola enjoyed growing flowers, feeding and watching birds and gardening. Bob and Lola spent many summers camping and loved spending most of their time at Lake Nehai in Marceline, MO.
Lola was married to Emmett Chenoweth until divorced and they had 5 children, Robert Chenoweth, Jean Chenoweth Bratcher Rogers, Twila Chenoweth Ball Cook, Carol Chenoweth Kendall Woods and Bill Chenoweth. She later married Bob Swartz, and the family grew with Bob's 4 children, Gary Chamness, Jerry Chamness Spoon, Bobbie Swartz, Tonya Swartz.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Grace Morrison, sister Lois Marie Morrison; and brothers Lloyd Morrison of Colorado; John (jay) Morrison of Kearney, and Marvin Morrison of Savannah; Emmett Chenoweth of Darlington; and Bob Swartz of the home.
Lola is survived by Robert Chenoweth of Savannah, MO; Jean Chenoweth Bratcher Rogers (Mike) of De Soto, KS; Twila Chenoweth Ball Cook of St. Joseph, MO; Carol Chenoweth Kendall Woods (Clint) of Higby, MO; Bill Chenoweth of Savannah, Gary Chamness (Diana) of Gray Summit, MO; Jerry Chamness Spoon (Marilyn) of San Antonio, Texas; Bobbie Swartz (Kelly) of Harrison, MO, Tonya Swartz Van Sandt (Robert) of Branson, MO.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
