Kathleen Lewis 76, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 in St. Joseph.
She was born January 31, 1949 in St. Joseph, daughter of the late Maureen Lucille and Joseph Francis McCue. She graduated from LeBlond High School, and then she received her LPN from Sisters Hospital. She retired from Mosaic Life Care after many years as an LPN. Kathleen enjoyed going to craft shows, and adventures with her grandchildren to Build-A-Bear or the casino play area. Kathleen was a member of the Lunch Bunch with her fellow retired nurses.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Lewis, daughter, Amy Renee Seek, parents, brother, Daniel McCue, in-laws, Garold and Elma Lee Lewis, and Bob and Virginia Knowles, and brother-in-law, Milt Berger.
Survivors include: daughters, Natalie Seek-Sisk, and Yvette (Fred) Snapp, brother, Tim (Judith Kerns) McCue of Cincinnati, OH, sister-in-law, Sharon Berger, grandchildren, Kelsee Seek, Shelby (Adam) Fletchall, Kylynn (Ashley) Sisk, Samantha (Donald) Bowlin, Cole Snapp, and Karlee Seek, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and several close friends. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to the staff at Mosaic Hospice and Freudenthal Home Health for the compassionate care during Kathleen's final days.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services; 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
