Patricia "Pat" Ann Dowell, 71, of St Joseph, MO, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. She was born April 19, 1952 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Emma (Harmon) and Roy Patterson.
She attended Lafayette High School and married Roger Dowell on April 28 1973 in St. Joseph. Pat enjoyed gardening, playing games on her tablet and working around the home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Emily Ann Harris, brother, James Patterson, and sisters, Mary Johnson and Eve Earhart.
Survivors include husband of 50 years, Roger Dean Dowell of the home, son, Richard Dowell of St. Joseph, grandsons, Colton and Nate Dowell and their mother, Annie Dowell, granddaughters, Kayla Dowell and Century Harris (Jordan Moore) all of St. Joseph, brothers, Don (Carrie) Patterson of Oregon, MO, Olin Patterson of St. Joseph, and sister, Vickie Shoemaker of Wyoming.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm, Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Pastor Danny Weiser officiating. Mrs. Dowell will be cremated following services.
