Linda P. Hankins, 72, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025. Born on March 30, 1953, in Searcy, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Erma Dean (Johnson) Campbell.
Linda married the love of her life, Ron Hankins, on September 10, 2011. For 50 years, she passionately served as a registered nurse in Obstetrics at Mosaic Life Care, where she touched the lives of countless families.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kathy Ashworth, and her son Brandon Polsgrove.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 21 years, Ron Hankins; her sons, Gregory Polsgrove and Jon Roberts; and her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Sisk, Corbin Polsgrove (Haley), Miranda Polsgrove (Casey Bennett), and Cheyenne Smith (Justin). She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren: Brentleigh, Blakely, Gavan, Ryder, Casey Jr., Tucker, Tatum, Brooklyn, and Gunner.
Linda is further survived by her brother, Jesse Campbell (Terry); nieces and nephews, including Davey Campbell (Jamie), Dena McDonell (Bryan Smith), Joey Ashworth (Tammy), and Holly Ashworth (James Bottorff); and numerous others
A woman of diverse interests, Linda loved to travel, care for babies, fish, and bake. Though she joked about not inheriting the "bowling gene," she enjoyed spending time at the lanes with family and friends.
Linda's kind spirit and unwavering dedication to her family and profession will be deeply missed. In her memory, let us celebrate her life through acts of kindness and love for one another.
Celebration of Life 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Saturday, August 30, at Preferred Community Center, 14375 US-71 Business, Suite 2, Savannah, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to an organization of the donor's choice.
