2 hospitalized after Nodaway County crash

NODAWAY COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Wednesday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Chevy Equinox driven by James M. Broyles, 87, Maryville, was westbound on Highway V just east of Skidmore.

The driver failed to yield as he attempted a left turn at the T-intersection at MO 113.  The front left of a northbound 2018 Ford Explorer driven by Robin D. Lewis, 48, Fairfax, struck the Chevy.

Nodaway County ambulance transported Broyles to Mosaic in Maryville and Lewis to Fairfax hospital. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
