BUCHANAN COUNTY—A Missouri woman died in an accident just before 1a.m. Sunday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Jeep Renegade driven by Kim R. Pawling, 53, Kansas City, Mo. was southbound in the driving lane of northbound Interstate 29 one mile north of Faucett.
Vehicles swerved to avoid a crash. The front left corner of the Jeep stuck the front left corner of a 2020 Freightliner semi driven by Donald J. Hill, 49, Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Pawling was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Meierhoffer Funeral Home. Hill was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
