A man in his mid-20s has been arrested on suspicion of driving drunk after his car ran off the road, hit a light pole, and took out a fence very early this morning behind the Shoppes at North Village.
St. Joseph police report the wreck occurred at 2:15 Friday morning, when the car drove off the road in the 3500 block of North Village Drive, behind Best Buy. The car ran into a utility pole, then went through a fence.
The driver suffered minor injuries. He was charged with driving while intoxicated after receiving medical treatment.
