Anna Marie Marriott 93, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday night, June 20, 2024 in a Liberty, MO health care center. She was born August 5, 1930 in Chillicothe, MO, daughter of the late Marguerite and Carl Pfaff.
She graduated from Chillicothe High School and attended business school. Anna was united in marriage to Wm. Greg Marriott on November 27, 1954 in St. Joseph, MO. She was employed with Dean Machinery for many years. Anna and Greg wintered in Clearwater, Florida for many years. She was a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Anna was preceded in death by husband, Wm. Greg Marriott on August 22, 2003, her parents, brothers, Bill and Bob, sisters, Helen and Pat, grandson, Ronald Eugene Marriott Jr., and granddaughter, Nicole Lynne Marriott-McCleish.
Survivors include: sons, Carl G. (Charis) Marriott of Kansas City, MO, and Ronald Marriott of Baltimore, MD, granddaughter, Heather (Jason) Marriott Lavely of Maple Grove, MN, great-granddaughter, Teagan, granddaughter, Ashley Marriott of Valencia, CA, great grandchildren, Charlotte "Charli", Vincent "Little Vinnie," Lucas "Little Lukie" and Rex "T-Rex," grandson in law, Matt McCleish, Kansas City, MO, brother, Charles (Doris) Pfaff of Chillicothe, MO, sisters, Alice Vandyke of Chillicothe, MO, sister, Beth Pfaff of Kearney, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Gentiva Hospice nurses and staff as well as the Ashton Court Nursing Home staff for their kind service to our mother.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 am on Wednesday, with a Rosary to be prayed at 10:30 am, and the funeral Mass of Christian Burial starting at 11:00 am Wednesday June 26, 2024 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Father Jonathon Davis Celebrant. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
