Brett M. Tull, 35, of Atchison, Kansas, passed away on November 22, 2025, unexpectedly at his home.
Brett was born on November 29, 1989, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Richard and Lisa (Bowen) Tull. He graduated from ACCHS in 2008, then attended vocational technical for construction classes. He started working for Bell Construction and has been a dedicated employee of Martin Construction for nearly thirteen years. He enjoyed many things such as woodworking, pumpkin farming, using the skills he learned from working alongside his dad like pushing snow and concrete finishing, fishing, hunting, mushrooming, playing softball, reading, ATV riding, cooking, John Deere, Texas Longhorn team, and being a volunteer fire fighter for Rural Fire District #3. He loved taking care of his children and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a devoted father who took great pride in raising his two sons, whom he lovingly co-parented with their mother. His dedication to his boys was one of the defining joys of his life, and he worked tirelessly to provide them with guidance, stability, and unconditional love.
Brett is survived by his mother, Lisa Tull, sons; Jaxsyn Tull, Hunter Kurtz, and their mother, brother; Sam (Grace) Tull, sisters; Kimberly Wright, Bridget (Ed) Peters, JT Tull, Sonya Wint, Michelle (Dan) Hynek, Denise Hinson, Stephanie (Chad) Phillips, Amanda (Chris) Hoffman, several nieces and nephews, and his dog Josey.
He is preceded by his father.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas, with Pastor Phillip O’Reilly officiating the service, burial will follow at Sumner Cemetery, Atchison, Kansas. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 3:00-5:00PM, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Rural Fire District #3 (Walnut Township) and can be left in care of Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral home.
