North Central Missouri College's Athletics Department is bringing back the fast-paced fun, good eats, and a live auction in their 2nd annual Mouse Race, August 29th.
The evening starts at 5 PM, with a social, followed by dinner from Alewell's Whole Hog BBQ at 5:45 at the Ketcham Community Center.
Mouse races kick off at 7 PM. Between races, there'll be a live auction featuring a large collection of signed memorabilia, including Chiefs helmets signed by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, a Taylor Swift-signed guitar, A Larry Bird-autographed basketball, and signatures from Len Dawson and Nolan Ryan.
Proceeds benefit NCMC Athletics, supporting student-athletes and improving facilities.
"This event is a fun way for Pirate fans and community members to come together, enjoy some great entertainment, and help support our student-athletes," said NCMC Athletic Director Nate Gamet. "Whether you're coming for the races, the food, or the one-of-a-kind auction items, it's going to be an unforgettable night."
Anyone wanting to reserve a spot can reach out to any NCMC Athletic Department personnel or call the Ketcham Community Center at (660) 357-6450. NCMC says space is limited, and encourage early registration.
