Sharon M. Hosier, 66, of Wichita, KS formerly of Atchison, KS died on Monday, Feb. 16th, 2026, at the Ascension via Christi St. Joseph Hospital, Wichita, KS.
Sharon was born on March 4, 1959, in Atchison, KS the daughter of Jessie C. and Mary A. (Oxley) Hosier. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1977. Sharon worked as a dish washer for the St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, KS for over 30 years. She was a member of the Cross Pointe Free Will Baptist Church, Wichita, KS. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching old television shows.
Survivors include a brother, Rex Hosier, Atchison, KS, and her extended sisters Karla Tabor and Cathy Bailey, Wichita, KS, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, two brothers Robert and Gary Hosier, a half brother Ronnie Baxter and half sister Beverly Baxter Muessig, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sat. Feb. 21st, 2026, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Paul Kelley officiating. The body will be cremated following the funeral services and interment of her cremated remains will be at a later date in the Sumner Cemetery, Atchison, KS. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, Feb. 21st at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to help with final expenses and may be sent in care of the Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home, 800 Kansas Ave., Atchison, KS.
