Mary L. Pullen, 92, Savannah, MO passed away Wednesday April 10, 2024 at Oregon Care Center in Oregon, MO. She was born August 17, 1931 in Oregon, MO to Kenneth & Pauline (Caroll) Hanner. She married Donald Pullen in Oregon, MO on October 17, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2019.
Our Mom especially loved her Lord Jesus Christ and serving Him for most of her life. She also pursued to be the homemaker; wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, while enjoying special moments with her best of friends. Gardening, plants, flowers, fruit trees and canning were her delight. She was an excellent seamstress, loved to read books and did lots of antiquing. She often volunteered at her church, local hospital and care facilities. She played the organ some and loved to cook. No one could beat her wits at crossword puzzles. Mary Louise Pullen was our Mom and she will be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by her son, Roy (Anita) Pullen of Savannah, MO; daughter Gayle Balsley of Savannah, MO; grandchildren, Paul Balsley, Mark Balsley, Justin (Tabitha) Berry, Luke (Leeanna) Balsley, Jacob (Nickie) Pullen and Grace (Philip) Morey; great grandchildren, Abigail, Ben, Tyler, Caitlyn, Gabrielle, Lillian, Claire and Eleanor; sister Jeanne (Jerry) Reynolds of Forest City, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her younger brother, parents, husband and son in law.

Graveside service will be 11:00am, Monday April 15 2024 at Savannah Cemetery in Savannah, MO. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO oversees local arrangements.
