Duane E. Parrott, a Saint Joseph man and former teacher with SJSD, was arrested Monday after communicating sexually with what he believed to be a 16-year-old male, according to a probable cause statement by Detective Stefen Hernandez. Such communications involved sending nude photos of himself, as well as requesting nude photos of the minor. Parrott then met up with the intent to take the minor home with him.

In an interview with Saint Joseph Police, Parrott admitted to "going down the wrong path again", and admitted he knew the contact was underaged.

Parrott has been arrested before for offering to perform sexual activities to a student. He is currently booked in Buchanan County Jail.
