ATCHISON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 6:30a.m. Monday in Atchison County.
Police responded to a two vehicle injury accident at U.S.73 and Ravenhill Road at 8:22AM on Monday morning
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson reported a 2019 Ford Fiesta driven by Charlene Stout, 85, Atchison, was southbound on U.S.73 and turning east onto Ravenhill Road.
The Ford collided with a northbound 2013 Honda Civic driven by Kristina Kimball, 39, Lansing.
EMS transported both drivers to Amberwell for treatment of injuries, according to Wilson. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
