Due to high winds, the St. Joseph Fire Department has canceled Open Burning for today in St. Joseph.
No yard waste should be burned until further notice. The Open Burning period in St. Joseph runs through the end of April, but can be canceled at any time due to adverse weather conditions.
Open Burning should resume tomorrow, if weather conditions become more appropriate.
