Mustangs complete perfect homestand beating Ban Johnson Raiders 4-3

The St. Joseph Mustangs, donning the old St. Joseph Saints colors on Saturday night, extended their win streak to nine games completing a perfect three game homestand and beating the Ban Johnson Raiders 4-3.

The Mustangs and Raiders went back and forth before St. Joseph pulled ahead for good in the eighth inning.  Jackson Glueck was 2 for 3 with a walk. Tim Teixeira earned his fourth save.

The Mustangs are now 21-2 on the year.  They now hit the road for two games, starting in Nevada on Sunday, first pitch at 7pm.  After an off day on Monday, the Mustangs travel to Carroll, Iowa on Tuesday.
