Lindall L. Jenkins, 51, of Union Star, Missouri passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in St. Joseph.
He was born December 16, 1974 in St. Joseph, son of Sharon and Howard "Buck" Jenkins. He graduated from Union Star High School. Lindall worked at Altec and later with the Andrew County Highway Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. He most of all enjoyed spending time with his boy. Lindall was a former member of the Union Star Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tricia Jenkins. Survivors include his son, Wesley Bassett and his mother, Shelby Bassett of Union Star, aunts and uncles, Carla and Pat Archdekin, and Marla and Mike Medsker, and numerous cousins.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026 at 1st Christian Church in King City. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at 1st Christian Church in King City. Mr. Jenkins has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Savannah Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are requested to the to help with education expenses for his son, made out to the Wesley Bassett Education Fund c/o the family.
