PLATTE COUNTY—A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 2a.m. Sunday in Platte County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Lexus driven by Wendy L. Shuford, 51,Topeka, was southbound on Interstate 435 just north of Route N.
The vehicle struck a deer. EMS transported Shuford to St. Luke's. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
