Ross "Bud" A. Ray, 84, went to heaven on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Born in Rolla, MO on October 12, 1939, to Della Mae (Bowman) and Jessie James Ray.
From 12 to 81 he raised and cared for his most cherished possessions, his racing homer pigeons.
He worked for Park Floral and Stuppy greenhouse in the 1950s and 60s where he met his lifelong companion, Crystal Ray.
In 1965 he went to work for Hirter Brothers feed store for 20 years.
Bud was a gentle giant who loved his routines and many times stopped to help anyone he thought was in need.
Preceded in death by parents; companion; siblings, Abby Landgraf (Bill) and Larry Ray, and niece Alane Yamanaka (John).
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Lori Cox (Greg), Gc Cox (Rylee), Austin Cox, Steve Ray (Jana), Jonathan, Sam and Sarah Ray, Christy Landgraf, Will Landgraf (Kristina).
