MERCER COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Saturday in Mercer County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Easy Go Express Golf Cart driven by a 44-year-old Des Moines, Iowa, man was northbound at 193 LAKE MARIE DRIVE two miles south of Mercer. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, struck a ditch and rolled.
Mercer County EMS transported the driver to Wayne County, Iowa Hospital. A 58-year-old passenger refused treatment at the scene.
