Christopher Michael Myers 35, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday August 17, 2025. He was born November 10, 1989 in St. Joseph, MO. He attended Savannah High School and graduated from Summit High School in Breckenridge, CO. Christopher married Mary Gnuschke on September 9, 2023. He worked as a Welder with BNSF Railroad, Collision Repair Specialists as a Tow Operator and currently was an Assistant Manager at FedEx. Christopher enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors. He loved being around the kids and sharing his infectious smile and personality. He was a member of Hope United Church of Christ.
Christopher was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Eddie Lee Rice, maternal grandmother, Connie Pray, maternal-great-grandmother, Dorothy Gardner, great-grandfather, Ray (Julia) Ripley, paternal grandparents, Gary and Ada Copeland.
Survivors include mother, Jenny Rice, father, Scott (Kristi) Copeland, wife, Mary Elizabeth Myers, children, Jaselyn, Addison and Kynlee, brother, Matthew (Brittany) Copeland, sisters, Kelsey (Dakota) Copeland, Rhiannon (Casey) Lewark, Gabrielle Myers, Asher Myers, 5 nephews, father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Joy Gnuschke, brother-in-law, Nicholas Gnuschke and uncle, Blake Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday August 29, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home. Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday August 30, 2025 at Hope United Church of God in Cosby, MO. Memorials are requested to the Christopher Myers Memorial Fund, c/o Rupp Funeral Home.
