HARRISON COUNTY —Teo people were injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Monday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Chevy Equinox driven by a 47-year-old Bethany woman was northbound on Interstate 35 two miles north of Bethany. The SUV struck the passenger side of a 2010 1500 driven by a 28-year-old Derby, Kansas, woman who slowed and attempted to use a an emergency crossover due to traffic. After impact the pickup became airborne and struck a road sign.
EMS transported the pickup driver and her 72-year-old passenger to Harrison County Community Hospital. The SUV driver was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
